Welcome! Most of the music posted was recorded quite a long time ago but I’ll be adding new stuff coming up shortly. Consider some of these are from literally when I was 15. No, seriously! Some written for things I’m going through, a good handful of them for friends. But though it’s dated, maybe you’ll like what you hear anyway! I still perform and love them so feel free to request any of them at shows or on streams! Ghost of Consequence, which you’ll see a lot around the music, is the old name I used for music. I’ve since switched (obviously).

Now, if you’re interested, a little about me. I’ll try to cram it into a paragraph or two. If not and you’re on mobile, upcoming shows and music are below so scroll down!

I’ve been playing, writing and singing officially since I was 13. Even then, I thought a lot about things and life and loved music, so figured learning an instrument would be a pretty cool place to put it all. As a grungy-metal head, I wanted an electric guitar and amp but was told by a bluegrass veteran to start on the acoustic since it doesn’t hide your mistakes the same way a distorted electric setup would. Part of me thinks my family also didn’t want to hear me learning so loudly. Since I wasn’t paying and the fellow who was much wiser than I recommended it, I was taken to buy a Fender acoustic and played it until my fingers literally bled. As soon as I could power chord at all, I started writing terrible-but-fun (for me) songs. None of those still exist thankfully. The decision to start on the acoustic turned out to be perfect as it’s been the primary instrument for me so far. I was in a metal band for quite a few years that I wouldn’t hate doing again someday. Some songs on the player of this site are from that era.

Though some say I sound like I learn towards country the most, it’s not by design. I do love old country but I think it’s probably the drawl and acoustic guitar. I think my style is unique and my own when it comes to the songs I’ve written though you may think they sound completely generic. That’s life! I genuinely try not to hear other music in my head and avoid getting caught in familiar (albeit successful) patterns that I’m used to hearing. After it’s finished I sometimes say, ‘….well, that’s not very unique at all’. Hey, there’s only so much you can do! We live in a world where we’re constantly being influenced.
